Use * and % in Grids with Client Side Filtering

Hi,

We have a Grid where filtering is done on the client side. Today we noted that it is not possible to use* or % for complex filtering. We tried the sample from the showcase (http://www.smartclient.com/smartgwt/...tfilter_filter) which has the same behaviour.

Is it possible to enable users to enter more complex queries like B*da in the Country column of the grid?
