Velocity expressions in customSelectStatement

I noticed with the 5.0p version that it is possible to write velocity expressions inside the customSelectStatements. If I remember correctly, this was not possible in 4.1p. Is this a new feature or was it already possible in 4.1p ?

It's not a new capability, it was allowed in 4.1.
