Can you please help me shed some light on what might be causing this warning?

Generally this would mean that null was passed where a Record or widget was expected. In this case we would guess that you called editRecord(null).

I put a breakpoint directly before the call to ValuesManager.editRecord(Record) that produces the warning, and the Record is definitely not null there.

Provided that information, any hunch as to where I could look further? One interesting fact is that it only produces that warning the very first time editRecord is called. The next time it is called, no warning.

Then it could be a place where you've called an AutoChild configuration API with null.

It's a harmless warning, but if you can provide a way to reproduce it when it shouldn't be happening, we'll take a look.

If it is a "harmless" warning, I will let it be for now.
          Thank you
