Hello,
Just upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 that comes with Firefox 4.01. The latest Showcase at www.smartclient.com/smartgwt/showcase looks very different than before. Please see the attached pictures: first one with Firefox 4 and the second one with Chrome 11 (which looks fine to me). Can you see what the problem is and how can we fix it? -Tuomo |

Firefox 4 uses hardware video acceleration to draw elements. Your video drivers may be flawed. Try disabling video acceleration (see Firefox website) and re-test.

I can now confirm that it was a video driver issue. After installing the proprietary Nvidia drivers to my system the rendering issues vanished. Disabling Hardware Acceleration in Firefox 4 made no difference in this case.
Thank you for the help. -Tuomo |
