After extensive testing, we are announcing that the final version of IE7, which was released after SmartClient 5.5, is an officially supported browser for the SmartClient 5.5 release.
Any documentation within the 5.5 SDK which lists support only through IE version 6.0 can be ignored, and will be updated in an upcoming point release.
In addition, although a final version of Firefox 2.0 has not shipped, there are no known issues with SmartClient 5.5 on Firefox 2.0 to date.
