    "(TypeError): _6 is undefined" error on call to LG.transferSelectedData()

    Hi,

    I am using SmartGWT built from HEAD of trunk (http://smartgwt.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/) two days ago on 10/31/10. For my browser, I'm using Firefox 3.6.12 on Fedora 13.

    When I attempt to call:

    rightGrid.transferSelectedData(leftGrid);

    where leftGrid is a ListGrid with an associated DataSource, and rightGrid is a ListGrid with no associated DataSource (i.e. DataSource field is null), I get the following exception on the dev console:

    [ERROR] --- UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION ---

    An entry point that demonstrates the issue is attached. To reproduce, click one of the Move Right buttons to try to move one or more items from the left grid to the right grid. The move will fail, and you will see the above error logged to the dev console.

    Note, the same code works fine with SmartGWT 2.2 LGPL, so this is a regression that occurred some time since that was released.

    I've updated the smartclient.jar file under tools/lib/sc. It's likely this resolves the issue. Please update and try building again.

    Note that you can always get the latest automated nightly builds without building from SVN. See this post.

      That did the trick - thanks for the quick turnaround!

      Fyi, I have published the build from tonight to the JBoss Maven repo for use by the project I work on:

      https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/repositories/thirdparty-uploads/com/smartgwt/smartgwt/2.2.RHQ2/

      Notice I beefed up the pom a bit with some additional info about the project. I thought you might want to use this version in your Maven repo.

      Also, notice I included sources and javadoc jars. This is something you should consider including in your Maven repo, as they are very useful for people who consume the smartgwt jar as a Maven dependency. It allows them to easily pull the source files and or javadocs into their IDEs to make developing and debugging their SmartGWT app easier.

      If you only do one or the other, the sources jar is the more useful of the two, since IDEs can still derive the per-class/per-method javadoc by parsing the sources.

      Regards,
      Ian
