Does SmartGWT work with IntelliJ?

Does SmartGWT work with IntelliJ and will the sample projects load up in IntelliJ? Will this project mentioned in the Getting Started guide work in IntelliJ?

Its been a while since I checked in on SmartGWT. How is the product as a whole? Do you have many customers actively using it?

Samples work with intellij but you need to configure the artifacts etc.
