Are you seeing the whole page move horizontally when you try to drag in Chrome?

We're looking into a solution to add support for Surface/Touch devices running Windows, but it's not simple. We'll update this thread when something has been committed.

We've added a first cut of support for "dual input" mode in Windows 8+, which is able to handle both touch and mouse events, and should resolve the issue you had using SGWT on your Microsoft Surface device. This support has been added to SGWT 12.0d and is unlikely to be ported back to earlier releases due to the changes required.

The sample you originally mentioned can be found here for SGWT 12.0d. Note that you must select records before you'll be able to drag them.

Chrome will probably give you the least trouble, followed by Firefox and IE11. We saw some issues with Edge on our test platform, but they may not affect you. Note that in the current releases of Firefox (52ESR and 58), things have changed and we had to make some modifications to SGWT to get things working - which apparently wasn't needed for the Firefox version you tested in your original report.
