We've updated the type of the attributes value, start and end to VelocityExpression. The update will be available as of tomorrow's builds (Apr 29).

    Hi Isomorphic,

reading docs for another thread I noticed this also applies here: DSRequestModifier.
The last example in the text shows value (and I assume also start/end) to support VelocityExpression, but they are listed as String.

We've made a change in the docs to address this issue. Please try the next nightly build, dated December 08.

  • Mail-tag sub-tags not listed as VelocityExpression in the docs

    Hi Isomorphic,

some or all of the String-type tags in the docs here (Smart GWT EE API 6.1p (2017-12-05)) should be VelocityExpression instead of String IMHO.
I've been using $-variables from the fetch-Result successfully since I started with the mails in 2015.
This is true for to, cc, bcc and subject.
Please also see the text for these and others - there you directly state "you can use Velocity substitution variables in this property.". So most likely it's only a copy&paste error in the docs.

    Best regards
