The default RestDataSource response for JSON is expected to have a prefix and suffix. Remember to look in the Developer Console: there is a warning that tells you that this is the problem.

When I upgrade the SmartClient from V11 to V12 (SmartClient_v120p_2018-11-15_LGPL), all TreeGrids which are binding to RestDataSource prompt error "The server failed to return a formatted response at all.". There is no such problem for version 11. Here are the sample, test2.html data.txt. The browser is Chrome. What's wrong? Thanks.
