Month and Year picklist, can not focus, and can not be accessed by keyboard

Hey, I would like to access the datechooser dialog by keyboard only. But when I clicked year or month button, the month picklist and year picklist are not able to focus, and when I "Tab", the focus is still on datechooser box, not in month picklist or year picklist, any suggestions?

As has been covered numerous times on the forums, the DateChooser does not make sense for a non-sighted user to use, typing the date is far simpler. For this reason, it doesn’t have keyboard navigation, which would be useless.
