transformInput or change?

Hi Isomorphic/all:

To format the input received in one formItem with the focus on it and then display the value, lets say from a Card Reader, but also the field could be filled manually.
Im using:
transformInput()
and looks like it works but, is there a way that all the string that comes from the Card Reader could be registered as one value once it is complete?

I appreciate any help.

A concrete example and/or code would be helpful. I'm having a hard time following.

On one hand, you say it works, but then at the end.... you kind of suggest it isn't working.

Does transform() work for you or not?
