'add to home screen' supported by SmartClient apps?

Hello, I'm testing one of our webapp on iOS, but using 'add to home screen' feature, which opens the webapp without the browser chrome.

So far, it seems to work without problems, but I'm wondering if it's really supported by SmartClient.
Actually I don't know the actual underlying differences, if any.
