SmartClient undead

Is that a feature, that SmartClient receives some active development? Now that I have (stupidly?) invested some months in developing a smartgwt application, I am concerned that I see so little activity surrounding its underpinnings.

Is SmartClient dead? I can not find anything mentioned about it or future plans or fixes (other than Isomorphic's) since 7.0RC2.

Every feature you've seen going into SmartGWT is a new SmartClient feature too. See the Product FAQ.

We'll be making nightlies of SmartClient available too so that evaluators can get to those new features in SmartClient as well (most customers already have them).
