    I have this question: can Analytics Module be used without Java backend?

    Yes, the CubeGrid uses a DataSource, and DataSources in general can connect to REST, WSDL and other HTTP endpoints without the need for the Isomorphic server technology, and indeed without requiring the backend to be Java at all.
