smart client prolem

We have a smart client program running on windows xp. We view the running of our extruder on this stand alone pc. But we cannot control it so we have to keep walking over to the other end ten metres to change settings.

For some reason the username is blanked on this version is smart client . Any reason why?

It cannot be because of the extruder because we hadn’t yet connected yet the username is blanked.

Is it even needed? How can we control via mouse . We had done it before on the old extruder but that was so long ago that computer has gone and so it’s software.

Please see pictures ; it says something about encryption not being enforced by server.

Can someone help. I have tried other versions but they would not even install . Many Thanks.
