    Questions about isomorphic_webdriver.jar

    Hi,

Our client is looking for the isomorphic_webdriver.jar to enhance their selenium automation.

Are we able to give the jar to them in the case that they are not your direct customer?

    Thanks,
    Robin

Not yet addressing that question, but make sure to note from our automated testing overview that we still recommend Selenium V1.0 over Web Driver: http://www.smartclient.com/docs/10.0...tomatedTesting

      Thanks for the quick answer.

      The question is

Are we allowed to give the "isomorphic_webdriver.jar" to our client according to the license?

      Thanks!

This is currently under consideration. We'll get back to you (very) soon with an answer.

The isomorphic_webdriver.jar is included in the LGPL distribution of SmartClient. Please advise your client that they can download the LGPL edition of SmartClient and make use of the isomorphic_webdriver.jar under the terms of the LGPL license to do their testing automation.

              Thanks for the answer.

We downloaded SmartClient_v83p_2015-02-04_LGPL, but we cannot find "isomorphic_webdriver.jar" under subfolder "...\smartclientSDK\WEB-INF\lib-WebDriverSupport". Could you please advise?

The webdriver support became available in SmartClient 9.0, so you'll need to upgrade to at least that version in order to make this work.
