I'm trying to drag text from a list grid to a portallayout and trying to create a portlet withing the portal.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?
A couple of things that I have tried:
1. I drag text to the portal layout and then on a drop event it creates the portlet I need, problem is it immediately creates the portlet even when I haven't released the mouse. Furthermore it only creates the portlet in the first column and not the second column (or third if I've dynamically created one).
2. I select a row from the list Grid, then I have it automaitcally create a portlet. Problem is the text that I selected still has mouse control, I'm trying to get the mouse control to go to the new created portlet so that it looks like when you try to drag text it automatically turns into a portlet. If there is a way to make the portlet get Mouse focus, then this should work.
I can't think of a third option, but I woudl be open so suggetions.
