Is there any way to make a table like this?

Well you can't make for instance A1', A1'' actually two different cells per se, really the grid uses Records anyway representing rows, however you can achieve the "look" or a split cell certainly. getBaseStyle() is certainly one way to achieve it, see http://www.smartclient.com/smartgwt/showcase/#grid_appearance_hilite_replace, there are other possible ways too.
