com.smartgwt.client.widgets.form.fields.events.Key UpHandler and ":", ";" symbols

Hello everyone,
I faced with on problem and want to make sure is it a defect or troubles in my code. Might be some one of you faced with that.

I have a TextItem field:

final TextItem regUsername = new TextItem("regName", "Username");
	regUsername.setRequired(true);

for this field I added KeyUpHandler:

class MyHandler implements ClickHandler, KeyUpHandler {

	    public void onClick(ClickEvent event) {
		sendRequestToServer();

	    }

	    public void onKeyUp(KeyUpEvent event) {

		if (event.getKeyName().equals("Enter"))
		    sendRequestToServer();

Then run project and try to push ';' or ':' (shift+';' ) buttons. After that I'm getting Null pointer:
