load data only on filter not on load

hi everyone

i am using smartgwt 2.3 and in my application i am having a listGrid and i want to have "The grid shouldn’t load on program start. The user has to enter filter criteria, the grid should load after the filter criteria has been entered."

is there any attribute for this. please help.
