Wrong visualization of boolean fields in a grid

I have a problem with visualization of boolean fields in a grid. Regardles of the value of the field, they all show up checked. True value is only reflected by checked/unchecked display when I select the row for editing. Apart from my own code this also happens in the (unmodified) "built-in-ds" sample from the EE distribution for the "inStock" field from the "supplyItem" data source.

Apart from visualization everything works as expected. Values can be edited, saved and retrieved correctly.

Any idea what the problem may be?

    Regards
    Nikolay

You didn't post your version. There was an issue like this in 2.3, resolved shortly after. Nightlies are here: smartclient.com/builds.

      Thank you for the clarification.

      Yes, my version is 2.3.

Since this is a critical bug, I need to ask you how the fix can be used in production. Assuming that after completion of my evaluation I purchase a license for the Power edition what would my options be relative to fixes of this and other possible critical bugs in a supported version which is available to me?

Support options are here. Enterprise and above include the ability to ask for unlimited patches for flaws in release versions. See also the rules for support for nightly builds at smartclient.com/builds.

Regardless, Most likely, 2.4 will be out before your evaluation is done.

Note there's also a pretty simple workaround of defining your own CellFormatter in this case (or SimpleType, to make it system-wide).

Thank you. I am aware of the options described on the site. What I am trying to understand is whether licensed users have access to supported bug fix versions - e.g. 2.3.1, 2.3.2 etc.

            Regards

Yes - this and likely follow-on questions are discussed in the Product and Licensing FAQ.

Thank you. I take it that if/when I purchase a license I will have access to production grade bug fix releases. This answers my question.
