Filtering a ListGrid with no DataSource

Hi,

I've got a ListGrid and want to allow the user to filter its contents by field. However, this only seems to work if the ListGrid uses a DataSource. My ListGrid is populated manually with custom ListGridRecords, rather than with XML data as most of the showcase examples use.

Is it possible to filter a ListGrid with no DataSource?
