warning when applying fieldState

I've started getting the following warning when restoring the view state on a different ListGrid and am not sure why. Everything seems to be working OK but the console shows this "error". I haven't changed anything about how any of my ListGrid fields are being set, but this just started to show up.

I have added some new fields to the data source that this ListGrid is based on, and I haven't saved new settings, so it is trying to restore field settings that were saved before the new fields were added. Could that have caused this warning/error?

How are you providing fields to these grids? Are you re-using the same fields array with multiple grids?

No. Each one has a different fields list and data source. I noticed that the stack shows that the error is happening during ListGrid.setViewState() processing, which happens after the field list has been set.

But the stack continues on to call ListGrid.create - is that your code doing that?

No. We never call ListGrid.create(). In fact, we're using SmartGWT and there is no ListGrid.create() method.

Ah. OK what's happening here is that setViewState is forcing construction of the underlying SmartClient ListGrid before it can proceed.

This should not be a problem, but possibly there is a subtle order dependency between calls. Can you try moving setViewState() to after draw (use DrawHandler) and let us know if this warning disappears?
