Disabled ToolStripButton style

Hi All,
I'm using the latest 2.4 version.
When I disable a ToolStripButton, I can still see the button borders and cannot see the icon.
Is it possible to hide the button borders and dsplay the icon as grayed ?

You need to provide a disabled version of the image file with the name <img>_Disabled.png or .gif. The button borders still appear but they have a different appearance indicating that they are disabled. If you prefer a different look then you can customize it in your own skin.

I tried to override .buttonDisabled class but I see no changes.
Could you please post an example how to do it?
I would like to see a grayed text and icon without the borders.
