DataSource containing boolean on ListGrid always shows "TRUE"

Hi there,

I have a datasource defined in xml with a boolean field. No matter what I let the datasource controller return, it will always have the checkbox in the ListGrid marked...

Did anyone else ever have this issue?

There was bug in 2.3 that could cause that with some kinds of data binding. Try 2.4 (the current evaluation) - there's lot of new things and you should at a minimum start by reading the QuickStart Guide from 2.4.

Please do a definitive check of your version by looking at the date stamp in the header of the files being downloaded to the browser (using eg Firebug's NET panel). If you're on the right version, then you're probably delivering bad data - check the RPC tab of the developer console and post the response here.

is there any news on this problem?
I just tested the version from 03/03/2011, and the problem still exists in Safari.

watch your test case BuiltInDS under the Safari at times.

As you can see the DSResponse of the field is inStock = false, but in the listgrid, it appears as true.

I do not know what to do yet, I can not use a new build until the error is corrected.

Looks like a development mode only problem and probably a bug in core GWT. We'll look into it, but since it's development mode only, other issues have priority.

I had so far tested only in developer mode and therefore I have not noticed.

For your information: with smartgwt of 01/28/2011 and the same version of gwt it works as expected.
