customized scrollbar

Hi,

I'm practically not familiar with javascript, but I can java and gwt. I want to customize in gwt a scrollbar. I don't know any clever solution for this. Thus I've changed all pictures in images/Scrollbar and Scrollbars properties in load_skin.js. I've got nearly that, what I need. But
1. It seems to be not clever.
2. It isn't quite so, as I wanted.

I try to drow it:

It looks simple. How can I change the size (height and width) of part 1 (only 1 without part 2)?

Sorry for picture, when I drawn it it looks correct, but here all "|"s of right side are left shifted.
