I use the latest nightly build smartGWT 2.5 17-05-2011, GWT 2.2, Firefox 4.
In a DynamicForm if there is a FormItem with OptionalDatasource set and a record is edited then the formItem displays the actual value instead of display value.
This is due to the data loading from optional datasource. Once the data is loaded then the value is replaced.
However, there should be a "loading..." text instead. Prety much in the same way as it is done for ComboBox with optional datasource when user click on expend.
