Your difficulties have nothing to do with the technology you're using. Next time:

- if you're asking how to do something (custom events) and a community member asks you what you're trying to achieve, actually answer them. People ask this so they can help you figure out the right approach when you may be heading down a dead end

- try not to use an approach we explicitly tell you in the docs is a bad idea (GWTRPCDataSource) - this is a way to create extra hassle for yourself

Of all the forums related to gwt development, this is the most professional. Even in the face of such rude and intemperate remarks, Isomorphic's response to you was to continue to offer you guidance and support.

You will be hard-pressed to find that level of patience anywhere else, especially if you cannot treat others in the informative and considerate fashion in which you have been treated here.
