Problem with SmartGWT2.5 and IE8

Using SmartGWT2.5 and GWT2.4

We have just upgraded our webapp with the version above.
Our App works fine in FF, Chrome and IE9.
When using IE8 we get the following exception when using the gwt-native XMLParser.

Deleting
[USER]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\CustomSettings
solved the Problem.
