Just a hunch, but it seems that the Summary column of a Formula column using abs() is calculated as abs(SUM(A)).
That's wrong, it should be SUM(abs(A)) :)
as in attached screenshot:
The summary of Field4 is about 20 allright,
but the summary of Formula 1 (which is abs(Field4)) is about 180.
