Explanation: Difference between CheckboxItem and BooleanItem

They don't differ in any meaningful way. You can think of BooleanItem as a convenience synonym of CheckboxItem

Hi Isomorphic,

could you explain how BooleanItem differs from its superclass CheckboxItem and when to use which?
The Javadocs don't really help and besides obviously different constructor name and an undocumented method changePickerIconDefaults() that also exists on the superclass, there seem to be no differences, at least not documented ones.

Forums search does not help either.
