How to change standard i18n messages from SmartGwtMessages ?

Hello Isomorphic,
I use smartGWT 5.1 and I want to know if is possible to change the default texts from SmartGwtMessages .
For example the below text from SmartGwtMessages _de is not relevant for customer, and I want to change this value in whole application.
So,
validator_notADate=Muss ein Datum sein.
must be replaced with
validator_notADate=Muss ein Datum sein. Format ist TT.MM.JJJJ
Can you give me a hint?
