Change cell lane border when child sublane event is selected

I am using:
SmartClient Version: v10.0p_2015-06-25/Pro Deployment (built 2015-06-25)
On Firefox ESR 38.2.1


I have a time line with multiple sub-lanes per cell. Is there a way to change the parent cell (lane) border when any of the child sub-lane cells are selected

You can't do this, at the moment - cell-selection isn't supported in Timelines, and cell-borders are bottom and right only.

We may be able to add something like this via the Feature Sponsorship program, if it's important for you.
