6.1p Sample customTicksChart_new not working

in this sample (now v11.1p_2017-07-09) nothing happens when I select a different entry in the dropdown.

As the overview mentions, the picklist controls what gradations are available for the horizontal axis, not what's actually used. As it explains, if you make the graph narrow(er) (so that there's not enough room for month labeling), you'll only see years labeled with the default picklist choice of "Month/Year" but if you then change it to "Month/Quarter/Year" you'll see quarters as well.

Ah, now I see it, my fault. That's indeed very nice. I'm looking forward to using the charts someday.
