absolute positioning layout?

Is there a Layout that allows me to control the position of a Member (or Item)?
e.g., Using css absolute position would work in plain html.

That's what the base widget class, Canvas, provides. See also canvas.snapTo.

Note that when using a Layout you can add non-member children and they will not be positioned by the Layout.
