    Hi,

I am using Eclipse Neon, with GWT 2.8.
I am new to smartGwt. I have imported one of the sample project "builtinds". After importing i tried to compile that time it was showing "builtinds is not a GWT project" then configured GWT2.8 to the build path. Now i able able to start GWT compilation but I receive the below error and pop up window saying "GWT compilation failed".

    Hi,

you should definitly be using a newer version of SmartGWT.
Aside of this, this sounds like this issue (see main thread and the threads I linked).

    Best regards
