    Display issue in IE9

    Computer: Dell Latitude E6430
    OS: Win 7
    Browser: IE 9 in IE9 compatibility mode&IE8 standards


    Issue: incomplete window borders

    To reproduce the problem, use this URL: http://www.smartclient.com/smartgwt/showcase/#layout_windows_modality

    Click on the show window button.

    What exactly do you mean by that? I don't see any border issues but in IE9 quirks mode the modal window has a vertical scrollbar that shouldn't be there (it's ok in IE9 standards mode).

      See screenshot. BTW, all windows in the showcase are affected by this bug.

        Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

        We're only able to reproduce this issue by setting custom properties within the developer tools in IE9. The problem doesn't manifest for us on a page with HTML5 doctype set, or doctype omitted (or set to back-compat mode explicitly) in either IE8 or IE9.

        As such this would seem to be a custom browser setting that doesn't reflect a real world use case so not something we'll be chasing as a priority.
