Problem with rendering custom editor canvas (IE9 only)

We have noticed that one of our custom editor canvases is not rendering correctly in IE9 (it works fine in all other browsers). Although the fields are present and the canvas is usable, the background of it is completely missing. See attached screenshot. Any thoughts on why this IE9-specific problem may be occurring, or any suggestions or workarounds?

We are using SmartClient Version: v8.3p_2012-12-15/PowerEdition Deployment (built 2012-12-15)

and browser IE9 on Windows 7. Version 9.0.8112.16421

With just a screenshot to go on, all we can recommend is looking with IE's developer tools (press F12) to see what's in the DOM.

We meant look in IE, your style might not be there or you might find that there are errors in your CSS or in how you specified the color.

We can't really do over-the-shoulder debugging on the forums, so if you're unfamiliar with how to use tools like this to troubleshoot why styling isn't appearing, if you'd like us to look at it as a possible bug, please put together something we can run.
