    Related to date filter in dropdown component

    Hi,

    We have date filter in a dropdown component.
    When we click on the Date Filer of dropdown component and on selecting the desired date, notice that the drop down component is collapses.

    Please help us to resolve the issue.

    Please clarify "the drop down component is collapses".

    Also:

    1. specify what product and full version you are using, including build date

    2. if you haven't tested with the latest patched build of your version, please do so (see smartclient.com/builds)

    3. let us now how to reproduce the problem - your instructions are a big vague, we can't really tell which controls you mean

        Sorry, what you've posted only addressed part of one of 3 questions.

        What you are talking about is the standard MiniDateRangeItem control - you can see it here:

        Try the above sample: if you click in the two places that you indicated in your screenshots, the control behaves as expected and as designed.

        If this is not happening for you, please show us how the problem can be reproduced.

        If the sample behaves the same as your application, then please be very specific about which behavior you would like to change.

          Hi,

          Steps for reproduce the issue,

          1. Click on a dropdown component
          2. It will show number of filers, which will contain one date filter also
          3. Click on Date filter, one more Date filter pop-up will come.
          4. Click on the date from that new pop-up, then the pop-up displayed after clicked on dropdown is collapse.
          Only the last Date Filter is showing on the screen, we are not able to filer the dropdown component based on the date filter.

            Sorry, these appear to be steps to reproduce the problem inside your application, which we don't have. And you still haven't answered the basic questions noted above.

              Please find the below answer for your question,

              1. Currently we are using Smart GWT version 6.1
              2. We can not upgrade at this points because of some other constraint.

              Please guide us to solve the issue or if you have any alternative approach then please suggest.

                If you are unable to explain what the problem is without referring to an application that we cannot see, then there is really only one option: purchase consulting hours, and we can learn your application and fix it for you.

                Note that the Debugging topic in the SmartGWT Reference gives clear instructions for isolating problems, so that, if the problem is a problem with our product, you can submit a bug report that clearly shows it is a problem with our product. At that point you can get help via Support (which you also have not purchased).

                If you don't want to do this or are unable to do this, then you are asking us to analyze your code and try to figure out what mistakes may be present in that code - for that, please purchase Consulting hours.
