query regarding splitPane

I am some query regarding splitPane:

1)How can i hide navigation pane, as my design doesnt need navigation pane.

I only need a listpane and a detail pane with resizebar.

2)I want listpane should take more height than detail pane.How can i achieve that?

SplitPane is designed for automatic adaptation to various devices. If you don't need that and you just want two things vertically stacked, use VLayout.
