I wanted to report this issue as I think it potentially is a minor bug. On the Rich Text Editor, if you highlight some text, then click the color picker, then click "More >>", clicking inside any of the textboxes on the screen (Red, Green, Blue, HTML, etc) causes your initial text selection to be lost, and you no longer can set the color without exiting the "More>>" screen.
So if you wanted to paste a hex code into the HTML box, you wouldn't be able to do that because your text selection immediately gets lost.
This is happening in the Showcase Rich Text Editor example. I am using FireFox browser but have also seen this happen in Chrome.
