JS error in IE 9 & IE 10

    Hi,
We are seeing a JS error (screenshot of the error attached) which is preventing the page from rendering. It is only happening on IE 9 & IE 10. Chrome and FF work fine. Can you please take a look at the error in the attached screenshot and let us know what might be the cause of this error? Here is the desired information:

    1. SmartClient Version: SC_SNAPSHOT-2011-12-05/Pro Deployment (built 2011-12-05)

    2. IE 9 & IE 10

    Thanks!

With so little context, the only thing we can suggest is that it might be due to invalid mixing of GWT and SmartGWT, explained in this FAQ.

If you can show a way to reproduce the error we can take a look.

Also, I don't know if that version (most likely the 1st productive 3.0 version) even supports IE10?!? That version was released in Q2/2012.
I'm pretty sure that Isomorphic will suggest that you should use at least the latest 3.0p build, if not 3.1p or newer.

      Best regards,
      Blama

Quite right, we didn't notice how ancient your version is.

This error may still be due to bad usage, but you do need to upgrade to get IE9+ support. Your version pre-dates the release of these browsers by a long ways, and due to some very unfortunate bugs introduced in IE9, backporting support was not possible to do as a patch.
