Using Google Analytics with Smart GWT

Hi all. I recently joined a company who's primary solutions are written using Smart GWT. I am not a Java Developer, but do have a good deal of experience in web development. Today, we have virtually no visibility to traffic patterns, usage statistics, etc.. My initial question is: is it not possible (or prohibitively complex) to use Google Analytics with a Smart GWT Application? I can find very little in the way of documentation on this particular combination which to me, means either there are very few (or no) issues with their use together OR they don't play well together at all. Any guidance?

Neither conclusion is correct, in reality, how to do this is well documented by Google and very straightforward. We actually use this in our Showcases.
