There was a real issue here, and it's fixed in today's builds for all affected branches.

Sorry about the insistent on a real test case, we get a lot of false bug reports, especially in the area of date and time handling.

Correction: this fix will appear in *tomorrow's* builds, not today's.

Thank you for fixing this issue, and I understand the hesitance as, like you said, you get so many false reports.

That said, it would have been nice if you had requested a test case in the first place rather than outrightly dismissing my post. I realize that I should have read the rules more carefully, but still, a simple reminder in your first post could have saved me from some headaches. Either way, I guess now I know for next time.

We didn't dismiss your initial post, we actually reminded you that you also needed to update to the latest build. Testing against the latest build *and* having a standalone test case are key things to get a bug report looked at.

We try to make the need for this as obvious as possible (it's in docs, the FAQ, and in the text right next to where you type in your post..) because it would be very repetitive and wasteful to walk everyone who *thinks* they have a bug through the process of actually filing a valid bug report.

Anyway, thanks for putting together a test case and reporting a valid bug.
