Menu shadow bug in FF

Hi

Where do I find the roadmap for smartgwt 3.0? We are currently using smartgwt 3.0 Version v8.2p_2012-11-05 (2012-11-05). We see the menu shadow bug in FF. I read the forums for a solution and updating to the latest patched version resolved the issue. Could you please let me know what changes where made between the version we currently have and the latest patched version.

We're not sure what you mean by a 'roadmap' for an already-released product. No new features are not added to already-released versions, so they do not have roadmaps.

New features for new versions of the product are announced on the blog.

You can review the release notes for 3.0 by downloading the new version.

If you are doing any new development you should definitely move to 4.1 immediately. 3.0 is way, way out of date and will only receive limited, critical bug fixes.

I am just worried about any regressions.

I wanted to know what has been added/fixed between the two versions.

Cannot move to 4.0. That is beyond scope. We are just updating to the latest patched version for that one shadow bug. So wanted to know if it's worth updating and save to update for that one bug since we do not have the time to test the entire UI.

You should update to the latest patched version. There is no individual patch for the shadow bug, and if there were, it would be a riskier thing to apply, since it would not have been run through all of our automated tests.

Understood that you cannot migrate to 4.1 yet, but bear in mind, you should plan a migration or you will eventually have problems with lack of browser support.
