DataSource load order?

Can DataSources require a certain load order?

I have DataSources that seem to need to be loaded in a certain order. They're configured in a non-alphabetical order and work fine. But if I alphabetize the list of DataSource names then the DataSourceLoader servlet works OK but the GUI doesn't.

If you use dataSource.inheritsFrom, then you need to load parent DataSources first. Otherwise, no, no particular order is required.

We'd need more specifics about the "GUI doesn't [work]" to help further.
