Remark to date grouping by quarter and by month

Hi,
The way date field grouping in grids is working now (SmartClient Version: v9.1p_2014-09-08/LGPL Development Only (built 2014-09-08)) is not very useful in case of by quarter or by month. Entries from different years are glued together in one group, which is quite unexpected from user experience perspective.
I would suggest that month and quarter groups should be subdivided by year, because for example records from 3'rd quarter, but from year 1776 and 1947 together doesn't make sense really (see attached screenshot from Showcase).
Or, if two level grouping on single date field would be possible, then one could group by year firstly, and by month or quarter secondly?

End users can already group by year then quarter, or you can configure your grid in this way by calling groupBy() with multiple fields.

Maybe I do not see something, but looks like current version is blocking multi grouping on single field - see attached screenshot.

Right, you would need either quarter or month broken out as a separate field, or you could take the approach of implementing Custom Grouping.
