Keeping getting this warning in console

can somebody help me to get rid of this warning i keep getting every few seconds in my console.

If you haven't already, try the latest nightly build.
Also be sure to clear your browser cache when you upgrade to ensure you aren't looking at stale code.

If that doesn't solve it, you may have a misconfiguration of the Realtime Messaging feature. Perhaps start with the overview here, and also take a look at the shipped samples demonstrating use of this feature.

Thnaks for your feedback. The thing is I am not using this messaging feature in my application. I also checked the web.xml and there i dont have this messaging servlet. This is confusing me from where is this message getting into my application. Any idea??

This is due to a Remote Debugging - see the overview in the docs on this.

This would be expected to appear every 2 minutes, not every few seconds.

The logging is your own or that of your Servlet container. SmartGWT is designed to avoiding logging when Messaging is used for Remote Debugging.

you are wrong!!. Dont be so sure next time.look carefully at the time these warnings is being printed millisec ts=1426315982466....ts=1426315986485. it is few secs and not 2 mins.

OK, this message stops appearing as soon as I close the Developer Console. But again when i open the Developer console this message again keeps getting printed in my eclipse console.Can somebody help me as this get irritating when I am trying to debug in my eclipse console and this messsage keeps printing. Does anybody else have this issue.

thanks for your feedback. I looked that the remote debugging doc and there it mentions

But I am not using this feature. I mean I am not entering this in my URL. Am i missing something here??.

When opened, the Developer Console automatically connects to the Messaging Servlet to check if any pages have registered for remote debugging.

For this warning to be any kind of nuisance you have to basically ignore best practices in 3 ways:

1. Have the Messaging Servlet disabled (it's enabled by default for this purpose)

2. Be reopening the Developer Console repeatedly instead of just leaving it open and reloading the page it's attached to

3. Have some kind of verbose logging of 404s turned on in Eclipse. These usually aren't worth seeing in the Eclipse console, or should at most be a one-line log that is easy to ignore

So this is probably why no one else has complained to date.

where can I disable this. In my server.properties I don't have any messaging. Also I checked in the web.xml in there also I don't see any messaging servlet.

The absence of the Messaging servlet in your web.xml is what disabled it.

Look at the web.xml that ships with the SDK, and the necessary declarations are there.
