    Maven versus Cypal

    Hi,

When I started working with GWT last year, I used Cypal Plugin for Eclipse to be able to run and create new modules.
I also used it with GWT-Ext Library.

Now, When switching to SmartGWt, I found that there is Maven Plugin.

What's the difference between Cypal and Maven?

Should I switch to Maven or I can continue my work with Cypal?

    Thank you

If your Build environment Is based on maven then the maven Plugin might be a better fit
If you use ant, cypal might be more friendly

Note: Cypal 1.0 won't work with the upcoming release of GWT 1.6, and 2.0 is in early stages of development.

        Thanks for your replies.

I never installed ant or maven.

What I do is building a war file from Eclipse and use it in tomcat web server.

Why do I need ant or maven?
